I am a Dodgers fan and just watched the last series between the Cardinals and Dodgers.  Manny and Albert combined hit five homeruns in three games.  Also like thirteen RBI's combined in the three games too.  Just wait for the World Baseball Classic in 2009.  You will have Ortiz, Pujols, Ramirez, Guerrero, and Tejada on the same team!!!

Yes, I'd love to have both on the same team. Ego clashes can be dealt with - Terry Francona always made sure Manny's antics were tolerated in Boston, I'm sure Joe Torre will do the same in LA - a good manager sets the tone, and a winning team always has better chemistry than a losing team. And I'm guessing with Manny and Pujols in the lineup you will win some games.

And I also think that the team should be the Seattle Mariners. Pujols at first and an Ibanez/Manny duo in LF/DH...that would help their offense!

When I have the potential to have two player hitting .300, 30+ HRs and 100+ RBI.

...ego issues would the least of my concerns.

I never worry about ego crashing the sport of baseball.

Ortiz and Manny never crashed and i dbout it would happen if Manny and Pujols played together.

Plus, Albert have never been known for his ego.
