Would you like to help solve poverty if it only cost you a signature on a Declaration for the people?

I'm sure you've noticed, that we have international laws that punish those who commit war crimes and “crimes against humanity," yet being impoverished, homeless, unhealthy, and hungry is not considered a crime for which those in positions of power should be held accountable...why is that?

Who can't afford a "signature" to unite our voices and demand that poverty, which is a form of slavery, end now through an executive order?

Please go to wwunited.org to be part of the solution by simply signing your "signature" to the Declaration, and see comments from around the world.

I believe this plan can work. Do we have another option?

Billions are raised annually by charities, religions and foundations but nada, nothing ever changes.

  1. No, It's not really that simple.  It would lead to an increase in taxes, and I'm not for that.  Nothing is ever free or as easy as a signature.

  2. There will always be poor people and just giving people money for nothing will not encourage them to better themselves.  Why do you not give homeless people cash? Because they will buy booz so this is called enabling which is the same as just giving money to poor people.  Everyone has the same chances and opportunities in this country and if you CHOSE to either not finish high school, or be a teenage or single mother that is your choice and you will be behind right away.

Poor in the US is not the same as being poor in Mexico.  The standard of living is high in the US and everyone can participate but if you thing the government can make you rich thing again.  Get an education and get a good job and all will be fine.  If you live in an area that is poor: MOVE.  There are plenty of jobs out there where you can make a living.  Truck Drivers make good money but travel is required but it is possible.

  3. By all means , if every one would get up off their butts and do it , not whine about it , let your self be known  !!!!!!!!!

  4. No. How about we quit helping other 3rd world countries and keep our money here. And shut down the borders and kick out the illegals who are keeping the wages down. And how about some personal responsibility? Instead of spending the little money they have on drugs, expensive cars and/or expensive clothes, why don't those who are poor use their money a little more wisely. Why is it those who are power are responsible for the poor peoples situations? Most rich people have worked for their hard earned money, and don't forget that they are always having to give a larger portion of their money to the government to support those that are too lazy to get off their duff and improve their own lives.

  5. Sure

  6. giving poor people money doesnt really change anything.

once they blow the money most likely they'll just go back to doing w/e they were doing, hoping that someone will give them more. very rarely do they turn their ways around. so i guess my answer is it wouldnt really make a difference!
