  1. No, no I would not like it. Too many foreseeable problems with such a concept. Imagine the amount of ingredients you need to have to satisfy every request. How do you determine the price for each order? What about quality? And the to and fro exchange will make the place noisier, waiting much longer for food etc. Too gimmicky for me.

  2. And I have to pay extra for that? No thanks, I'm a excellent cook and if i want to cook I stay home, if I want to go out to eat I just want to enjoy the meal, that's all.

  3. That would actually be very cool...

But have them have choices or they will drive your chefs crazy.

And if they add ingredients that really would not taste very well, You know who they will blame---Your restaurant.

  4. i would go check it out. but i think the cuisine of the restaurant should be picked already so you don't have to carry so many ingredients.

the restaurant would be quite inefficient in terms of speed of service and food because you can't prep anything.

but on the consumer end, it would be a fun unique experience.

  5. that's funny.  my husband had the same idea for a restaurant.  quite frankly, i don't like the idea, myself.  when i go out to dine, i want to eat something different from what i make and i want the chef to know how to make it to perfection.
