  1. h**l no!!!!

had to catch a plane from the airport there once....everybody was drunk and rowdy and they were already wearing holiday clothes before they left......Old men with beerbellies kept taking their sandals off on the plane and as soon as the plane took off there was a queue for the toilet like an execution...What's wrong with goin to the toilet before leaving????

Plus they all clapped whe the plane landed WTF??  and they were all sitting on the baggage reclaim belt when the signs clearly say don't do it....and this chav guy got stopped at custom cause he had hundred of cigarettes with him and was bragging about it loudly as h**l....

oh and getting off the plane this reaaaaaly fat kid took about 10 mins to get his bag down from the overhead locker...and his mum was just standing there...the worst part was he only stood up to get it when it was time for him to get off..

sorry if i sound like a snob but

    André+spaghetti and chips brigade=not a good combination

  2. No but my aunt has a b&b there, and i love to visit.

  3. Not Blackpool on the Golden Mile, but go inland ( a few mile ) back from the coast & there are some very posh areas,

  4. No Way!!! Used to love Blackpool but went there last month and was just glad to get out of there..it has just gone right down the pan..my son even said he was scared and didn't like it(and this was in the day). It is such a shame as it used to be such a fun place but it has an undercurrent of animosity..i will not be returning for a long long time

  5. Afraid not. I went there for a hen weekend last year and found it to be run down, tacky, dirty and full of loud binge drinkers.

Living there would be one of my worst nightmares.

  6. Not on your nelly! The place is a sh1thole.

  7. No Too Noisy Drunk Holidaymakers outside at midnight Not The Life for me

  8. I lived there at a transit boarding house on Balmoral Road opposite the Pleasure Beach back in 1960...the house is now the management base for the PB.  I go back quite often as it is not too far from where I live now but I can't say that I would like to live there again.  I do like what they are doing regarding the coastal defence though....it's going to be good when it is finished!
