  1. Yes! Yes! Yes!

I would have to agree with that, Sean Sherk would be perfect for Rich Clementi.

First of all, Rich Clementi is on a hot streak, and he proves to be a very tough customer, and prove to be Sherk's stepping stone-ooppps! wait just a minute!, so Sherk thinks...

Rich Clementi will give Sherk a whole world of problems. Sherk is strong no doubt, he could utilize his freakish wrestling background and could ground and pound his way to an easy victory, but the sad news is, it wouldn't be too easy.

Clementi is an accomplished wrestler who also has a sick background in jiujitsu (hmm i smell Bj Penn). He could repeat the BJ Penn KO to Sherk because Clementi is great in stand up as well but prefers the ground. I'm not saying he's the next BJ Penn but he will not, and i mean not a sure stepping stone or an easy fight for Sherk.

    Now for the nitty gritty.

UFC Managers MAY not give Clementi a shot against Sherk because they'd want to give Sherk an easier fight, to give him a chance to recuperate or gain his confidence back again.

But, then again, the UFC may have other things in mind. If they don't want to market Sherk anymore, maybe my wish, your wish and everybody's wish will come true, a fight with Clementi will surely show the best within the 2 guys. For Sherk it will show his composure and rebounding from controversy and loss and showing the world that he's still in the lightweight mix. For Clementi, it will really show that he deserves contendership or a title shot, not just a gate keeper who beats up new guys who also wants their name in the division. I want this fight to happen, this will be a good test for both guys, let's keep our fingers crossed.

  2. No because I think Clementi should be considered for a title shot and I don't think Sherk should right away. Yes Sean Sherk is a big name, but there are other Lightweights who are up for a title shot as well. I think you put together a fight between Rich Clementi and Tyson Griffin. Both of these fighters are on at least a 7 fight win streak and should be up for a title shot.

  3. It's time for the UFC to start giving Clementi some respect. He's done nothing but win lately, but no one gives him any credit. Dude is dangerous. The thing is, he's not, for lack of a better term, "s**y" enough to use as a marketing tool. They want to give people like Penn, Huerta, and Florian the big push. To answer the question, I wouldn't mind seeing Clementi vs. Sherk, but if Clementi pulled off a win, a title shot should be next.

P.S. What about Clementi vs. the winner of Huerta/Florian?
