Would you listen to a scientific studies do by a top university?

well if scientific came out tomorrow and sad chocolate cause cancer every 1 would stop eating it but when scientist come out with reports saying weed has many many benefits to smoking it no one believes it don't you think somethings were just given a bad name cause of or Conservative parents just so you know weed has been smoke from before 1000 bc an it was just outlawed for the first time by any country in the 70s an you can thank the good old us for that do the research you want facts they got them see how many wonderful benefits weed has cause if you say it doesn't then you did look it up your just going of what the gov told you

When it comes to listening to scientific studies presented in the medias or online I'm a great skeptic. What's the source? How many persons were involved in the study? Has there been other studies on the same topic and what did they find? Were the study done by neutral scientists or biased, payed off scientists looking for a specific answer and finding it?

To hold water the study has to be done by neutral scientists that has a very large number of people that they study it on over a long period of time.

There are thousands of studies in the use of weed and what it does to the body. I haven't read them all of course and I wonder if anyone else has. People tend to pick the bits and pieces that fits what they want to hear and ignore the rest.

The levels of THC is much higher today. Has anyone compared that to how it was 1000BC? Inhalation of any smoke if bad for the lungs has anyone put that into the calculations? How a bout the social factors? Any form of abuse creates problems and any drug that alters the mind set can be abused. Most of those that use weed doesn't do it for medical reasons they do it for the "high" or to "relax" and that's abuse. It doesn't matter what you abuse it's the abuse it self and the problems around it that's the issue. Morphine is a good medical drug, but it still doesn't mean that it should be legal, simply because of those that would abuse it. It doesn't matter how many "wonderful benefits" weed has, what you have to see is what problems it causes in society when people abuse it. And people do abuse it a lot.

This could very well be a story where the bad apples ruins the whole thing. If it hadn't been for all those that insists on abusing the weed then maybe it could have been used as a legal drug for medical conditions. Maybe, but as with any other claim where the sources are not presented I'm skeptic and I'll keep on doubting until I have proof.
