Would you make this fantasy football trade?

Send Clinton Portis, Was RB from RB to Bungles

Send Marvin Harrison, Ind WR from Bench to Bungles

Receive Rudi Johnson, Cin RB from Bungles to Bench

Receive T.J. Houshmandzadeh, Cin WR from Bungles to Bench

So I get Rudi and Housh in return for Portis and Harrison. The upgrade from Harrison to Housh is a nice one, but then I dunno if it's worth the drop from Portis to Rudi.

My other starting RB is Addai, but RB's fall off after that (I have a couple guys with potential, but that's it).

My starting WR's look like this:

Reggie Wayne

Santana Moss

Laveranues Coles

Isaac Bruce

Would you take this deal?

  1. I can't remember where I read this, but I saw a story somewhere saying Rudi was working hard to get back in shape and was as strong and healthy as he has been in years. He'll be crucial to any success the Bengals might have on offense this season. Portis had a very solid season for the Skins last year but if you are getting Rudi and Housh back for him I would do it.

It looked to me as though Harrison was really starting to lose it last season and he also had some legal issues during the off-season, so I think you'd be better off with the Bengals' duo.

    Good luck.

  2. Yes, I would take the deal.  Rumor is Harrison is almost done.  So essentially you are getting Houshie and Rudi for Portis.  Good Luck.

  3. This seems like a good deal for you.  Rudi has had some solid fantasy years, while portis has been a little inconsistent for the past few.  They could end up having the same production, and housh should be better than harrison this year.

  4. too early to say for sure, but Harrison is getting old and his best days are behind him

  5. No because you lose Mrvin Harrison

  6. I would take it to shore up that WR core. The only reciever you have worth mentioning is Reggie Wayne as a #1. L.Coles is really a #3 in my opinion, and Moss would never touch my team. I also do not prefer to have two recievers from the same team in my starting line up. I don't know who your other RB's are, but addai will get you 14-18 pts a week in standard yahoo fantasy formats. Rudi's not a bad RB, he just had a bad year(hopefully his only bad yr). And portis is injury prone. He's bound to get hurt this year, and plays on a team with no air attack. so my advice, take the trade. You won't regret it.

  7. Yes. Harrison is "VERY OLD" ! Wayne showed Manning that he could handle the load without Harrison. Portis is going to be a force to reckon with now that Jim Zorn wants to run more. Plus Portis has Samuels and Jansen blocking for him.

    DO THE TRADE !
