Question:

Would you microchip your child?

Its not if, but when in the future parents will be able to tag their kids in protective fashion with an ID, likely with a GPS locator built in. Think of all the kidnappings you could eliminate instantly. Then again, consider the breach in privacy. What are your thoughts?

  1. What about the kids with bodygaurds?

  2. Yes. Better an invasion of privacy than dead.

  3. Yes cause I would feel better if I had my child with a microchip GPS cause I know that's something that no one can remove And Of course I will take it out when they turn 18

  4. yes, in a heartbeat, for safety reasons. then they could have it removed when they grow up.

  5. im not a parent...but i wouldn't. I could just imagine it now. If you ever had to get away from someone...they would ultimately always be able to track you down because now you have a baby tracking device that you cant get ride of. I think not. You could never hide out if you needed to...they would track you and the kid by that.

not a good choice. Its scarey to think that no matter where you go someone will be able to know where you are...worse than truman.

  6. h***s yeah. I bet if this was invented now my parents would be one of the first to get it for me, and my brother!

  7. No I wouldn't.

I think it's an invasion of privacy, children do need some freedom, being a good parent and an overprotective parent had a line, microchipping your child is crossing that line.

    They are people.

If my mum & dad did that to me i'd go ape.
