If not, why would you open up a business there?

62% will be Obama's top tax rate. Why would we want to do that to our current and prospective employers?

  1. if I had 2.9 million a year then I would be able to live comfortable anyways, so if i had that kind of profit available yes i would.

  2. No! but what most people don't understand, they pay close to that now. If you think about it, between all the federal, state, county and local taxes (and all the  hidden taxes, like cable, phone etc) If you make around 100k and over you paying close to half of your pay depending on what state you live in.

  3. Because those are facts and no one wants to be bothered with them.

  4. It's already 40% now....during the Clinton yrs it was only 27%.....so the rich got a tax break from who?

  5. nope!

  6. If I were making the 2.9 MILLION it would take to qualify, yes.  I'd also have a team of accountants making sure I NEVER paid the full rate.  Get real.

Remind me, what percentage of people in this country actually make 2.9 MILLION a year or more?
