No, neither.  I love my kids and would never do something to harm them.  What you're talking about them is harmful because a name is like a brand.  It is a part of who you are whether you like it or not.  They've been featuring articles on CNN recently about mean, dumb, or simply strange adults that make poor choices when naming a child.  Those children grow up and learn to live with it, but they resent their parents for their irresponsible choices that led to a harder childhood.
