Virtual Evie, I was just curious because I have seen that name on women and always thought, what was the reasoning behind that?

  1. No, I prefer Lilith.

  2. no Evelyn maybe

  3. Yeah, if I had a son Adam.  It would be kind of cute introducing the kids:  "Hey, I want you to meet my children, Adam and Eve"

  4. Yes, i think it is a beautiful name. I actually always wanted to name a daughter Eve, or Eva Grace.

But not at all for any reasons associated with religious beliefs. Just love that name... it is so peaceful, and lovely :)

  5. Well, my daughter's name isn't Eve, but I think the name is pretty, so sure.

Only I'd probably use the proper long name Evelyn, and then have "Eve" or "Evie" as a nickname.  I *love* the name Evelyn.

"Eva" is one of the most popular names for girls right now, and that's a variation of "Eve".

  6. No, that is not something that fits in with my belief system.

  7. no its a borring name nothing against the people named like that

  8. I named my daughters middle name Eden... If I liked eve, i don't see why not

  9. Nope.

Mainly because I don't like the name. Blame advertising companies, but I cannot see naming a daughter of mine with a name that is also used for a brand of douche.

  10. No, my daughter's name is the Ethiopian Habbu-Li-Ana-Manto or "Sue" for short. Her name which means "Green eye'd half white chick".

I hate Eve anyway, and prefer Steve!

I have a son and named him "Sue" too taking some advice from Johnny Cash. This way he's bound to grow up tough.

  11. Why not?  "Eve" is a poetic way of referring to the twilight part of the day, as in "the beauty of a Summer's eve."  That's my my favorite time of day.

  12. Yes, I think there is something very beautiful about the name.  I had a great grandmother named Elva Eva.  Think that is pretty too.

  13. No. Wasn't there some kind of feminine hygene product that had the name "Eve" in it? Eeewww...

So no, I'm not naming my kid after feminine hygene products.

  14. No, if I had a daughter and I was going to give her a biblical name I think I'd go with Lilith, a far better role model.  Whats not to like about a woman so strong she stood up to the only man in existence and god both and wouldn't back down?  She certainly had more balls than Adam who did whatever Eve told him to do.

  15. Sure, why not? The name Eve has the meaning of Mother I believe.  The Eve in The Bible was not inately "Ev"il

  16. if i liked the name alot (which i don't) yes

  17. No because there are lots of other names I like better.

  18. That's my name. Is there something wrong with it?

A Thumbs down for this answer?  People, people, people. Ho hum.

  19. I would..

    Our savior is her descendant...

  20. Not  because  of  the  meaning  of  the  name.Eve   means  the  mother  of  every  fathers   families. This  is  by  definition  adultery, and   shows  the  outcome  of  that.    THANK  YOU  D'S

  21. If we have a girl, we'll name her Elizabeth after my Grandmother, or Ann after my Mother

  22. Eve is pretty, no for me but maybe for someone else. You have to think of what other peolpe will think when they hear that name, such as some future boss in an interview, ect. Names definitly make an impact on a person's life.
