  1. Go finish school, restaurants can be a hit or miss.... but school is a sure thing to get a job

  2. Well, look at it this way.  Is running a pizza shop (or anything else you may be planning) something you can see yourself doing comfortably and happily for the rest of your life?  While it's great to have a dream, a bachelors is a fantastic bolster to your resume and your future opportunities, so ultimately I would advise you to go back to school.

Not to be a downer, but the facts are that dozens if not hundreds of new businesses (ESPECIALLY restaurants) open in the US every year and less than ten percent of them make it past that first year.  If you don't have a lot of business background (and I mean actual classes and know-how) you could find yourself sunk very quickly and in real trouble.  Pizza shops in particular are notoriously hard to make successful depending on where you are and whether you have something honestly unique to bring to the table;  most people tend to be rather picky about pizza and loyal to a particular brand, and if you plan on competing with other, already established pizzerias, you could be in trouble.

If you really, REALLY want to open that business, my best advice is to talk to other small business owners in your area and ask them what sort of problems they faced and what advice they may have.  You may find it a real eye-opener.

    Best of luck.

  3. both are hard... i'd choose school. these days, employers are looking at degrees more than going out for a slice of pizza.
