  1. maybe...

  2. Its not that I would not pay it, I can't pay it, I don't make enough money.

  3. yes, if we stop drilling for oil, if we stop talking about building new nuclear plants, huh, remember three mile island?

  4. No, I only live a few miles from my office and I have a bike for commuting to and from work. Gas prices wouldn't affect my personal transportation decisions much.

But it amazes me that most Americans don't understand the real impact of high gas prices. It doesn't hurt you at the pump nearly as bad as it hurts you when paying for everything else.

Think about it. EVERYTHING you buy has either spent time on a truck to get to a store or was manufactured from raw materials that spent time on a truck to get to a factory. Shipping companies will pass on the extra expense of doing business onto the consumers just to stay afloat. It costs more to heat and light a building, so business services will need to increase their prices. You'll also see this at the supermarket, where it costs more in fuel to grow and harvest crops and raise livestock.

  5. I would either move, ride my bike (which I currently do anyway), use public transport and buy a fuel efficient car. It's as simple as that.

  6. No I would not. In fact I think I would find anothor form of transportation if the gas goes over either 4.30 or maybe 5.00. I have horses so I might see if that is a possible way or maybe even a bike.

  7. only for my scooter. it gets 100mpg!

  8. Well do we really have a choice.

Its not just gas we have to pay for we also have bills. Forcing us to pay the gas prices to get back and forth to work

  9. No.I won't pay over $2.50  a gallon.Thats why I drive a converted diesel that burns WVO.
