How much would you be willing to pay? What would you look for in the service? Any ideas on a name for my company? I hope to start a business soon for babysitting, daycare and nanny referrals and would like advice. I think it would be very profitable as everyone needs a qualified sitter.

  1. I wouldn't pay a yearly fee.  I would pay a upfront fee for a listing of, say, 3 people to interview, with a finder's fee due if I hired.  The business sounds like a good idea.  You have to have access to a thorough background check system and some kind of insurance (don't have a clue what kind) or disclaimer to cover you if one of your referrals hurts a child.

  2. None. My paycheck is going to paying for gas.
