Would you pay the full retail price for the AT&T Pantech Duo? If your was stolen?

I am already in a fairly new 2 year contract with AT&T. My old pantech duo was stolen from me when i was on vacation sadly..However, I cannot part ways with this phone..i love it! ..but I didn't have insurance on it which was the sad part. So now the price of the phone is $400 something. I love that phone ..but $400 is way to high just for the phone. Would it be considered crazy if I bought it? I could get a cheaper phone...but all of them are ugly. I know it shouldn't matter what it looks like a phone is a phone. But if i don't get that one maybe I'll get the LG SHINE...its kinda cheaper. What would you do if you were in my situation? By the phone you love or get stuck with a cheaper Crappier looking phone?

plus...i think the price went down on it so just chek online again....they hav other colors now 2 :]

I would shop around see if I could find the phone I like cheaper.. maybe Ebay or someone has it that their phone is cancel.  Post on Craigs list or something that your looking for it.  Then wehn I found it not for 400 dollars I would go to ATT Corp store and get a new sim card.. nope wouldnt pay full price if I did not have to ... ohh and maybe add insurance next time. :)
