Would you pay to see the Tabernacle Choir sing upside-down?

There's a Mormon DJ in New York (Bob Lonsberry) who's urging other musicians to mount their instruments on the wall, and play them while laying down.

Why are today's DJ's and musicians not willing to be truly different? Isn't it time to risk a little and dive into the future of entertainment? Why not go all the way, and play them from the ceiling? Can you imagine the crowds and media acclaim if the Tabernacle Choir performed from the ceiling of the Tabernacle? What are they so afraid of?

  1. You're being silly. The Mormon Tabernacle Choir is ultra-conservative and traditional in their delivery. They perform brilliantly in the customary stance that they have been doing for over 75 years.

They aren't there for theatrics, but to sing the praises of God to whomever might listen and enjoy.

  2. Have you ever tried to sing upside down? It pretty much sucks. Plus it makes you look all funny.

Not too wild about things that make you look all funny. I am passionate about music, I don't want gimmicks involved.

Besides, the ceiling of the Mormon Tabernacle couldn't support 'em. It's wood, I don't even think it's been reinforced in decades.
