  1. right means you're turning right

    correct means you're right.

They mean the same thing when they are used as adjectives.  However, each also has another meaning that are not synonymous.  That is right is a noun meaning a direction that is opposite of left, while correct is a verb meaning to fix a problem or change or mark errors, like a teacher correcting classroom assignments  

  3. right can mean the opposite of left or it can mean correct.

    sometimes it can be confusing when you say refer to something as being "right." people may not know whether you are referring to the direction or to something being correct. so you should say that you mean right as in it's correct.

    sometimes right can just be was someone believes to  be correct while correct is definite .
