4 c. grated yellow squash, peeled

2 c. green sweet peppers

2 T. salt

2 1/2 c. white vinegar

4 c. chopped onion

2 c. red sweet peppers

5 c. white sugar

2 T. celery seed

hot pepper to taste

     Cover veggies with ice water, add salt and soak for 1 1/2 hours. Drain well. Boil sugar, white vinegar, celery seed and hot pepper. Combine the two mixtures and cook 30 min. Put in clean jars and seal.
