  1. Alt. fuel! We rented a Prius once to see if we'd want to buy one, but we ended up buying natural gas vehicles instead, and are very happy with them. It was nice to be able to rent, though, just to see what a hybrid was like. I think it's a great idea.

  2. i absolutely want to go to other places i think are the leader in alternative fuel vehicles and see nothing but the same old practices and no fueling stations so its mandatory you remain on the same current course harder than h**l and more expensive to make a change because we insist we squeeze absolutely every bit of change you have under the seat and the floor on the same old method the dry method why make a change were not giving you a choice you must use traditional only dont question us you must conform or suffer the consequences we instill on you now do as we say as we laugh at you and pay off people who are supposed to be looking out for your best intrest and are trusted public servants or we will give you just the tip of what might happen with some fear there is no failer to obey you shall conform

  3. Alternate fuel vehicles have inherent shortcomings. They either use exotic fuel or have a short range and are usually small cars. Hybrids, for example are good at delivering high fuel mileage in town but there are conventional cars that deliver better results on the highway.

In a real world situation you would use your alternate fuel vehicle to commute and run errands. It would be very light weight, frugal with fuel and probably a small car.

When you want to go to Grand Ma's for Thanksgiving dinner with the family, rent a Van. What is the sense in owning a vehicle that you use 4 times a year? Paying insurance? Registration? Suffering depreciation?

I can see the day when more people would rent cars that they do not need to own, for special events and normal transportation is handled with a small, Zero Pollution people mover.

So, I would prefer to rent from a fleet of conventional vehicles and own the alternate fuel vehicle, to answer your question.

  4. Alternative Fuel, definitely.  Not only would I bee able to just charge my car instead of paying $100 at the pump, but I wouldn't be releasing a huge amount of exhaust for every revolution, right?
