  1. umm if i have a cat maybee idk

depends on the cats behavior if that cat is really a bad one i will but if its a veryyy nice and good one i won't

  2. I tried to put a harness on my cat several years ago, needless to say she literally "locked" up and fell over like she was made of stone. lol So, the harness didn't work for us, but it does for some cats. Harnesses are safer because they don't choke a cat like a leash can, and they give you more control. Plus, most cats can easily escape out of a collar and leash.

  3. I tried once, good luck.

  4. I have tried it with my two cats and they do not like it. My neighbor across the street puts her cats on a leash though and they do fine. It just depends on the cat. Her cats are indoor and only go outside when they're leashed, while my cats go outside freely. If the cat doesn't like it then YES it is mean, but if they can handle it then go ahead. I wouldn't suggest taking them around town on a leash though.

  5. It's not mean! My cat enjoys his time outside, but I did feel guilty bringing him back inside. He's used to it now, and he likes to go out and eat grass. Personally, I think it's mean to keep a cat indoors all their lives.. At least take them out once a month or so, to explore. Imagine how fun it is for them! Just make sure you use a harness, not a collar.. Cats are squirmy and they can pull out of a collar in a heartbeat.

  6. It all depends on the cat. i have two cats and one does fine but the other hates it. My friend has two cats as well and they both love it outside. so it all just depends on the cat. if you do decide to though watch the cat and i would recomend a harness rather than leash

  7. I wouldn't in general, but if you do, use a ferret leash that connects around the shoulders rather than the neck. And watch her. Cats like to climb and I knew a grl when I was a kid who put her cat on a leash tied to a tree and it ended up hanging itself.

  8. I wouldn't do it. With some domestic cats it works to take them for little walks if they are very calm kitties. They have cat strollers and outdoor pens that work very well.

If you are taking it to the vet, or around other animals, I would never put it on a leash. If it somehow gets away, it could get snagged on something and choke. It is a risk of your cat losing its life if you put it on a leash.

I strongly recommend a taxi for transportation and vet visits, and an outdoor play pin for exercise. Or, you could go the old fashioned way, inside cat, taxi for other events.

  9. Ya a lot of cats actually like leashes but I would suggest a harness you get a lot more control over the cat and its easier on them too, although some cats of course don't like leashes it really all depends on your cat, I work at a petstore and see a lot of people bring there cats on leashes

  10. actually my older cat will walk on a leash, she is very obedient and follows commands like a dog, she really enjoys it, she will even bring it to me when she wants fresh air!
