Would you rather Darren Glass or Ben Rutten?

Question

They're both great defenders, both been all australian, tell me who and why?

Ben rutten was a centre half forward before neil craig moved him to defence - he is a very accurate kick for goal and a strong leading forward - can play at either end unlike glass

Though I'm an Eagles fan, I'd actually choose Rutten over Glass. Don't get me wrong, Glass is of top quality, but aside from Matthew Scarlett, Ben Rutten is the best pure full back in the competition. Whether it be Jonathan Brown or Brad Johnson that he plays on, he gets the job done week in, week out.

Hi samson_jaryd, I would rather have Ben Rutten in my team, I may sound biased, but Ben has been more consistant than Darren Glass. Darren is a good backman, but Ben gets the job done every week, with out Ben, Adelaide's defence is nothing.

I would be happy with either, however, Ben Rutten has had a better more consistent year this year, so out of the two, I would take Rutten

Darren Glass. He can shut down any opponent and still run up the ground and help other players. And he is always good under pressure.
