If I were to be a mermaid I'd be forced to live i nthe ocean 24/7. And it'S pretty much agreed that fairies tend to have magical powers.

Unless mermaids would have an uber-er range of powers than fairies, I'll stick with the wings and glitterdust, thanks :)
