Would you rather be able to move up or be even?

I think it may be time to evaluate how we fill about the rich. Would we rather have a chance to be Oprah or have all needs met. Also why do taxable celebrities support dems.

First of all,  everyone in this country has the greatest economic opportunity that has ever existed on this planet - the only way to make it easier to get to the top would be to give it away and you all know what happens to lotto winners in just a few years - over 90% of them are dead broke or worse in debt!

There is always a reason that poor people are poor - other productive people should not be held responsible for their irresponsibility.

Back to your question - all needs can be met very easily and simply - each person puts food in their own mouth.

You would be very surprised what a human being can do or accomplish if their life or the life of their loved one depended on it!

It's impossible to met everyone needs with everyone doing nothing.

This country is the best solution so far - we have the highest standard of living in the world and everyone has equal opportunity to rise to the top. Why would you want to change that?

No matter what the economic structure - powerful people will always rise to the top and the weak will stay on the bottom.

You need both, it doesn't have to be one or the other.  You can allow people to "move up" and still provide a basic safety net for those who, for whatever reason, can't seem to make it up.
