Would you rather be cold or hot? And why?

People who are suffering from heat will wish to be cold.

Same the other way round.

My answer is I do not like to be hot or cold. Somewhere between 15C and 30C fits my preference.

But as scout leader I have had boys on winter camp out with temperature of -22C. The smaller boys did get too cold, but I and the other leader were able to keep toasty warm. We had planned it better.

We have take summer camping with temperatures of 33C, and we had difficulty keeping the kids from overheating on long walk. Once again the leaders were better prepared and we did not suffer as much.

However, our ability to tolerate 10C degrees above our preferred top temperature (ie 40C) compares with our ability to tolerate 40C degrees below our preferred comfort zone.

Cold. Mostly because I can't sleep in hot weather. :D

Cold.  Because I can only take so many layers off, but I can add layers on.  I can breathe cold air better than hot, too.

I would rather be cold because you can always put on an extra layer. when your hot it's so uncomfortable and you can take off but so much clothing w/o risking being obscene.

Well let's see,  I hate the heat, so,  I would rather be freezing cold to the point of going completely numb,  and that's my final answer!

i mean u can always put on more clothes

but if ur hot you sweat  & its not very comfortable.

cold b/c you can always add layers to make yourself warmer... doesnt always work the opposite way for hott

Cold - you can put more clothes on but when it's hot, you can only take so many clothes off before people start laughing!  <G>

Everyones different. However, Id prefer to be cold because you can always put more cloths on and i find it easier to sleep when its cold...maybe cause i cuddle up to my blanket. Thats at night.

In the day, i still  prefer it to be cold because i seem to sweat alot, and when its cold, i find that i dont sweat as much and i dont get as tired as easily.

Cold, because I love layering clothes.  Usually when it's cold you can easily add more clothes, or bundle up under a blanket.  When it's hot unless you can go somewhere cooler, or take off all you clothes, you're stuck sitting there sweating.

Definately cold cos u can always warm up by snuggling up or something :) When it's really hot u can be naked are ur still boiling!! I would prefer to be somewhere in between x

you can always grap a blanket or hoodie but it doesnt work if youre hot

and if youre hot youre probably sweating eww
