Would you rather be confined to an earthly prison, or a prison of the soul?

An earthly prison.  I want my soul (a.k.a. spirit) to be free from chains.  What happens physically matters not.

I don't have a soul. So I'd go with the latter..

I don't fear earthly prison, and, not being a criminal, I seem to be safe.

Being a Christian, I am working on my own salvation. I do not fear our merciful Lord.

I guess I would say neither.

It's my belief that emotional pain  (arising from sin and the guilt for it) can be greater then physical pain so I would rather be trapped in an earthly prison.
