  1. Listen to "Hoptoad" - that is the right answer - it depends on the type of riding that you do.

The shorter board is great in the park - easier to spin and land the tricks but not very good in the deep powder.

The longer board is great for cruising and carving at high speed, but not as easy to rotate or balance on in the park.

    Good Luck

  2. Too short, if you go by the internet charts the board i ride is a bit short for me anyway. I just prefere a short board easier to spin, butter etc

  3. long

  4. Shorter board because it won't get stuck in the powder as easily.

  5. Unlike most riders, I would rather take a longer board just because I don't ride in the terrain park yet. I prefer lots of powder and an open landscape. So a longer board would be perfect for that. I have ridden both short and long and the short one gave me so much trouble with stability I fell all the time. The longer one was better at stopping and staying afloat in deep powder.

  6. depends on what you want to do.  fast Crusing and carving = a bit longer.  Freestyle with tricks and spins = a bit shorter.  if you are going to buy a board tell the guy you are buying one from what you want to do with it.  They will set you up i'm sure.

  7. I would go with the shorter board because i know from personal experience that it is not fun to use a board that is too long.  short boards are easier to control.

  8. I prefer a shorter board...easier to turn.  On a board that's too long, it might be easy to lose control.

  9. don't know about snowboarding - but I surf with a longboard as I feel it more comfortable and rides the waves better.....

  10. i like shorter. easier to do tricks and turn and such
