Would you rather date edward or jacob?

keep in mind, im currently only halfway through eclipse (im reading fast though, i started the series itself two days ago, haha!) so no spoilers please!

anyway, at thus point in my reading, im kinda inbetween when it comes to who i like more -- edward or jacob.

Because I honestly think he's a better guy than Edward. ^^  They both have their faults, but Jake's don't include watching unknowing teenage girls while they sleep.

Edward is more old-fashioned and he is just as funny as Jake. I love old-fashioned, romantic type of guys  so therefore I choose Edward.

Jacob would be great too, but if I had to pick, you already know my answer.

Edward. Not because he`s so handsome and perfect in every way, but that's definitely a plus, but because he really cares for Bella. He would do anything for her. Like Bella's mom, Renee, she said "It's like he'd throw himself in front of a bullet to save you." I don`t know why people are irritated by his overprotective attitude. Isn't it so nice that your love will protect you in every way, just to make you safe? I started lowering down my hate for Jacob, because yes, he did help Bella when she was in "zombie mode." Bella would probably have suicided if not for Jake being there. But I hated it when he practically forced Bella to choose him over Edward. He`s not OK with it if Bella chooses Edward, unlike Edward who said he'll always love Bella forever and will be waiting in the wings. :)

I think that it would be better to date Edward just in the sense that he has had a long time to figure out who he is and he is not apt to change who he is.  Jacob is still on the road to sel discovery and sometimes when people change their loyalties and loves change too.

I would rather Edward be in love with me (and me in love with him) because he has such a caring yet strong and wise way about him.

I also really like Jacob and would want him as my bestfriend (even fixing him up with my sister) because he is funny and street smart.

I like the way it works out in the end.

Jacob, coz Edward would be too mopey and would leave me with heartbreak if he left. also he's suffocating and just too protective!!! Jacob actually fights for Bella where Edwards just like go with jacob if you want, its safer. i mean whats that about! you either love her or you don't!! he's happy to see her with another guy and i know its coz he loves her so much he wants her safe but what good would that do if he was meant to be your boyfriend?!?!

This question has been asked so many times, but since your asking I'll say who I'd like best. Jacob is so sweet. I like Edward too, but I wouldn't want to be a vampire (sorry Eddie).
