Would you rather have a Mentor or a Muse?

Amuse me!  

It's easy to find know-it-alls to tell you what to do, but finding someone who, just by BEING offers needed inspiration-- well, in my experience that is hard to come by.

Muse, muse....?  Muse means absorbed in thought, so that really doesn't add to your psyche, it merely helps you meditate moreso.  I would prefer a mentor.  A mentor guides you and helps you develop your psyche.  So when you fail, he/she feels like she failed as well.  When you succeed, the mentor feels that he has done his job well.  Mentors prove positive aspects, and they strive for goals.  Why wouldn't you gravitate toward a mentor?

Muse. Simply because I say so. If possible both. They would serve as my mentor but also be my muse. My teacher would be my inspiration.
