Would you rather have a bud or a sam adams?

I like the taste of Sam adams.  Its taste more full body beer.

Sam Adams has so much more variety - gotta go with Sam.  Bud is fine, but Sam is fuller bodied, richer, more satisfying.

speaking as a homebrewing beer snob If I had to chose one it would be the sam adams. there is more flavor , you can actually smell the hops in the beers . To me bud has very little flavor, no hint of hops aroma,  now if I was using them for target practice I would have to select the bud since that is about all it would be good for

Sam Adams.

With out going into all the reasons Budweiser is an inferior brew, Sam Adams actually has flavor. Jim Koch is an honest to god beer man running a company making good beer. Budweiser is only about mass consumption and mass appeal, the quality ship has sailed long ago.

Sam Adams is the best widely distributed beer in the country.

Which Sam Adams and for what purpose? I'd choose any of them over Bud for taste, but for drinking games and such you need an American Light Lager (AKA Bud Light, Coors Light, etc).

I no longer drink Bud, or any of the "megaswills".  There's so much good craft beer out there that it makes no sense to drink "blah" beer.  Even when I'm at a party, if Bud's the only beer, I'll switch to something else.

Samuel Adams!  Budweiser does not compare to Samuel Adams in quality.  Comparing Samuel Adams with Budweiser is like comparing Cristal Champagne with cheap Charmat Bulk Process Sparkling wine.
