  1. WELL i had a c- section and that hurts really bad after the surgery because your muscles are cut opened to get the baby so you have to make your muscles stronger...Believe me if i could i'd rather of had a vaginal birth instead..

  2. My best friend had her first baby by c-section as the baby's heart beat was erratic so she had to do an emergency c-section. 2 years later, she had no 2 via virginal birth. She prefers virginal birth as it heals a lot faster & breast feeding was easier (hurting at the womb).

  3. Vaginally. Deffinately.

  4. Vaginal birth all the way!!! My best friend had 3 vaginal births and the n her last one she had twins and they had to do a c-section she said it is so much harder to heal afterwards...you can't really move around and it HURTS...I've always had vaginal births and will keep goin...

  5. Vaginal Birth is not that bad, I heard that C sections are horrible and the healing time is a lot longer than Vaginal

  6. I think vaginal is more painful for the actual birth, obviously, but recovery is MUCH faster. I would rather that, I have already lived through it once plus I am too scared of needles to have a c-section.

  7. vaginally, its not really about the pain but whats best for the baby, going through the birth canal prepares the baby for breathing when he finally makes it out, also the recovery time isnt as much and you can pick up and hold your baby straight away. I find it strange that so many woman put their needs before those of their unborn child... so strange

  8. Well i don't have kids "yet", but i would rather have a vaginal birth. I dont want a permanent scar. I was able to be in the room when my god-daughter was born by c-section & my friend was just lying there talking to me while she was being cut, so i'm pretty c-sections are less painful, but i'll take the few hours of pain!

  9. I have had both (6 births) and believe me when I say I would pick vaginal any day ...ok the labour hurts ,but after you can get up almost straight away ,you can hold your baby feed your baby and go home feeling great but after a C-section ,that's when the pain starts ,you have to take care of this little baby when you can barley sit up and can not get out of the bed by your self .Baby cries you have to call a nurse just to pass your baby to you ..it sucks ...natural labour has a rhythm and a sense of accomplishment ,C-section has you behind a screen scared and alone while they cut you open ...C-section can take months to get over and you have a scar ...natural birth even with tearing you are fine with in weeks ...Oh did I mention I had lots of tearing ...its still better than a c-section.

  10. I would much rather a vaginal birth because that is how babies were intended to be born... not via c-section. I had a c-section and I still feel some remorse about it. Of course I have a beautiful healthy daughter and that's really all that counts but it would have been better to give birth naturally and have that experience. It was rightfully mine, and I feel deprived.

  11. Vaginal for some reason...

Life is painful being a woman.Might as well go full circle and do what a man can't.Course..they can't C-Section anyway...hmm

  12. I chose a vaginal birth for my daughter. Why have a major surgery if you're not required to? Who wants to be sliced open, have the baby torn right out, then sewn together like some hack-job leaving a hideous scar and months of recovery time?

  13. ive had both and i didnt mind the cesar but its a longer recovery and a natural your walking around an hour later if your not stitched from one end to another

  14. vaginal... I have never been cut open and never plan to.  plus the recovery is much faster and less painful as I hear.  My mother has done both and told me she would rather do it vaginally for this reason.  Also there are a lot more risks with having a c-section than a vaginal birth.  a c-section is considered a major surgery.

  15. i wanted a vaginal, but due to complications with my baby having a possible cord around neck i had to settle for a c section.  but ofcourse vaginal hurts for that moment but a csection hurts for a lot longer.  but with my c section i had no problems.(tg)

  16. i had a c-section it was painless...it did not hurt once the epidural had worn off...i could hold my baby as soon as she was born and do everything normal..the only thing i couldnt do was work out for 6wks..an i didnt feel like doing that anyways..people saying vaginal obviously have no experience with c-section.

  17. id rather have vaginal..the recovery time seems much better.

  18. I had no choice the doc told my husband who do you want to save, wife or baby I had toximia last stages c-section ....I would rather had my babys naturally, first one toximia, second one,a little toxic, third one broke my darn leg and still toXic! CUT THISE TUBES,NO MORE FOR ME NOW MY GIRLS HAVE BIRTHED ME 7 GRANDCHILDREN........MY LAST DAUGHTER WANTED ME TO BE THERE FOR HER LAST BABY I FELT I WAS INTRUDING,BUT IT WAS A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE I WILL EVER FORGET!

  19. I HAVE had experience with C-Section and it is a lie that anyone can "do everything normal" because it is major surgery! It doesn't magically turn into anything less, so don't believe that it's easier than vaginal. It hurts, your stitches hurt, and the staples hurt even worse. It takes a looong time for the anesthesia to wear off, which leaves you weak and numb for a while, then when the numbness wears off you start to feel the pain. I took the pain for a long time until finally I stopped trying to be brave and took some medicine because it hurt so bad. Everytime I got up to feed my baby it would hurt because I had staples in my body!!! Next time I'd rather do it vaginally...it's my greatest ambition to have a normal childbirth...(my water breaking, me going to the hospital, having contractions, finally giving birth to a child) and doing it the natural way that it was meant to be. Because it'd be painful during that time, but after that ( I've been told), you hold your baby and it's like nothing happened.

  20. I would rather have my baby vaginally! It may hurt more at the time but a c section hurts more after the baby is born! The recovery time is a lot longer too!

  21. I'd rather do vaginal.

Its more painful to give birth vaginally..  but in the long run a cecarian is more painful after the delivery.  They have to actually cut thru muscle and other tissues during a cecarian, which can take a while to heal..  your vaginal area is meant to heal up quickly after giving birth to a baby.

  22. C-section has a recovery time of a few days, it's hard to move, possibility of infection.  The safest way & least recovery time is usually natural childbirth, some people say it hurts more, some people say less.  It all depends on your body & the position you deliver your baby in.  I couldn't imagine it being easy or comfortable to deliver a baby on your back in the first place, like most women choose to do, mostly because of the choice of using pain relievers during labor.  If you give birth in a standing or squatting position your labor is more likely to go a lot faster, without any vaginal tearing, & your contractions are less painful & actually a lot more effective, because you know when to push, your natural instinct is telling you, not some machine.  This is obviously my personal opinion & I'm sure there are many out there that would disagree with what I am saying.  You should do what you feel comfortable with, but I can't imagine having your stomach muscles & uterus cut open, a baby taken out & the rest sucked out of you being less painful then doing it the way women have been doing since the beginning of time.

  23. vaginal birth

  24. I'm terrified of having a c-section lol, don't ask me why, but I am.

I had a vaginal birth with my daughter with no pain relief at all and an episiotomy and stitches, and I will do it again with this baby, but I'm hoping to leave out the stitches and episiotomy this time lol.

I've heard the heal time afterwards is alot easier and quicker for a vaginal birth. A couple of people I know had c-sections due to medical reasons, and both of them had a hard time coping afterwards with the pain and they found it hard to bend all the time picking up the baby etc, it really limited what they could do.

I'd rather vaginal birth anyday but everyones different

  25. Vaginal for sure! I had to have an epidural with mine so they could induce me properly but you recover so much more quickly. wit a c section its 6 weeks recovery and you can't hold your baby properly or for long or bend down to bath them not only that when your getting up during the night for feeds you will find it difficult to feed without hurting your stitches.

  26. VAGINAL is more painful during the delivery, but once the baby is out the pain is over!

C-SECTION is more painful after the baby is out! That's when the healing starts ..

C-section is MAJOR SURGERY and has a LONG recovery.

if you're ever given the 'option' definitely do vaginal!!
