Dude....this is a pretty off balance question with interesting consequences.  I would have a ring and be a big fat loser for 10 years.  Watching all those DVD's of the Celtics dynasty, bulls, lakers, and spurs seems like a ring is something that would be worth 20 losing seasons.

Man...I'm a Timberwolves fan, and I'll put this into perspective:

In 04, it was the funnest basketball year of my life. The Wolves were the best in league, the number one seed, they had Cassell, Spree, KG and a good team. The finally got out of the first round and beat the Kings (I live in Sac) in the most entertaining basketball series I've ever witnessed (enhanced by me living in Sac, all my friends being Kings fans, wearing my Wolves gear, etc.) Then we lost to the Lakers, should've won, but wussed out.

Then we sucked.

That one year, that one SERIES...unbelievable. I still look back at that series, watch my recorded videos, read the clippings from the newspaper...it's a bit of nostalgia that IS my experience of basketball.

Now, the Wolves are rebuilding. They've been bad for the past four years and probably will be for another two or three. But I know it's all for that feeling I got in 04 times a million. And I can wait.

Ask Sox fans how they felt after winning it all in 04. They waited d**n near 100 years for that moment, that feeling of being the best. Now, go ask Pistons fans how they feel about their current team and not being able to over that hump. They'll probably say they're gutless and are losing interest.

Man, I'd do ANYTHING for the Wolves to win a championship, even if it means waiting ten years. I want that feeling. I want that high. I don't care if we suck for the next ten years. I want that title. I want that Sports Illustrated cover framed. I want the DVD, the hat, the shirt, the ball. I want to be able to walk around and say...HA! We're on top! Your team is NOTHING compared to mine! HA! Even if that feeling is for three months. I want that. As sports fans, it's what we live for.

More winning ..Plus it's fun to watch your team making playoffs( possibly Finals )  than ..win 1 Title then miss 10 playoffs

id rather have my team compete in the playoffs be a threat who knows in those years who wil win the 11th year might be the charm as long as the team goes in deep

i dont want the warriors syndrome where in you get into the playoffs only once upset the other team then fade for the next decade.. thats where bandwagons are made :P

the first. if you can't win for 10 years then obviously there's something wrong with the team..at least stinking for 10 years after a title lets you rebuild with the lottery picks
