Would you rather kill or be killed

Question

pretend your in a life or death situation, it's either you or them, who do you choose?

ok, i must ask all of you to really think about your answer before posting it, not to sound cruel or anything but alot of people will imediently go for the "right" answer without really putting thier minds to the it,

of corse i'm not going to jugde your answers and i'm sure most of you will never be out in this type of situation, it's just i was watching an old war movie today and it just got me thinking,

so anyway...............................yea...

I have also thought about this alot and I think I could kill a person if I needed to. Its a mental thing, whether you are mentally strong enough and I know if I had to I could.

well it depends really,

If it was me or a little child, id let the child live instead of me.

But if it was me or some psychopathic serial killer rapist,

i would kill the killer.

Well, I don't know what I would do if I were faced with this situation in real life.

But, I have thought about this scenario many times and have always concluded that I will do everything in my power to protect myself in almost every imagined scenario.

Of course, there are gray areas which would tend to make me hesitate and maybe even make a different decision.  For example, if I were ninety years old and I could sacrifice myself to save a child, I would probably do that.
