i think it benefits ppl more

for scientific discovery.. even if they're small, they will still help in future scientific experiments carried out to help mankind (such as the cure for cancer)

but for being the best at the sports and winning titles,

you don't help others much..

as in no other people would benefit from you being the best in sports..

thus, i prefer scientific discovery

Sport players dont really get remembered that much, but if you made a huge scientific discovery, you would be remembered forever.. like einstein and people.

i've always wanted to be the best at a sport. If you made a discovery, eventually they would prove you wrong and they would take your name out but if you were good at sports, you would always be there under the records, even if people became better than you
