  1. both.

  2. The Coast Range in the Northwest would suit me as it's well within driving range of the coast.  And vice versa.  Actually, I think I'd actually prefer the Oregon coast, for the excellent fishing and leave the mountains for camping.

  3. I really prefer the mountains, especially Volcano on the Big Island and Kula on Maui.  I grew up and live in Aiea on Oahu - not really beach, but certainly not the mountains.  I love to go up to the heiau at the top of Aiea Heights.  It's so quiet and cool.

  4. The beach cos I love the sea.

  5. Beach, it is just something about walking, or lying around on the beach, or watching the waves and people that relaxes me. Mountains are full of bugs, creatures that want me for a meal, allergies, poor footing, winters are a pain (cold feet, nose, ears), can not move about in major snow storms.  Yep Beach has it beat.

  6. done both, kickin it right now by the beach. Better by far. Love to visit the mountains though.

  7. We lived up-country over 20 years and loved it.Now we live close to the beach and enjoy going for a walk and swim in the mornings. The price of gas is so high living close to the beach wins out.

  8. beach..

  9. Beach.. the ocean waves are beautiful and peaceful,.calming.. and  although I live in rural Pennsylvania,. where the mountains are very beautiful.. I still love the beach best.

  10. Both thats why I live in the best place in the U.S.

Southern California 15 mins from the beach 1hr and a half to the mountains and around my house there are alot of rolling hills that i can hike, run and mountain bike.

  11. by the mountains...i enjoy the great view here!
