I would rather share a class with older students, and for the most part, I do. They are the ones that discuss college and politics, like me. They don't chatter as much, since they stay more focused on schoolwork. They still bug me to help them with math problems, though :D

  1. me too. definitely older, i find that they are more mature (most of the time) and will stay on task. Also, they usually have a better sense of humour. I wouldn't like sharing a class with younger students unless it's temporary. I like older students because they tend to bug me less, and even if they do ask for help, they won't ask me to just do it for them. :) great question!

  2. definitely older because they are more focused, and I can learn a lot from them. OMG!  we had these 18 and 19 years old kids in our world history class, and they were throwing paper at each other like they are still in high school. I don’t mind helping someone with math and have them help with the stuff I don’t understand.

  3. older because you can learn more from them

  4. I was a returning student when I finally went to College. I was able to really grasp some subjects much better as I was not distracted by a social life. I wasn't spending Wed. through Sat. drinking and partying.

NOT THAT THERE IS ANYTHING WRONG WITH THAT.

I enjoyed my much younger classmates and I hope they enjoyed me. I found that we were able to form some really great study groups that helped all of our grades. The teachers were also impressed.

PS I never had trouble with math. In fact I tutored other students in the Math lab.
