  1. I don't anyone will ever want to understand the whole world, up to any degree.  Some people try, like politicians and economists, but the world is constantly changing way too much.  Once you grasp something, it changes before your eyes.

I'd much rather find someone who I understand completely, and have someone understand ME completely.  Human nature is complex, to say the least.  That makes reaching the goal of understanding an extremely difficult endeavor, but it's a lot more obtainable.

  2. if I get to pick, then I would rather understand a single person in a way that only i can reach.

  3. I'd rather understand a person fully. I believe I've already done that with my daughter. My wife on the other hand is beyond all comprehension.

I think we already understand the whole world and everything beyond it to a degree, albeit a very small degree.  We are just beginning to crack the egg of knowledge.  Since my brain can't handle any more, there's no point in me going any further down that road.

  4. Well there is a middle ground of course.

Since nobody can understand the whole world...

I'll go with DOOR NUMBER 2,  Bob.

  5. i'd rather fully understand a single person

  6. Yes the single person would be me.

  7. Maybe yes maybe no

  8. A single person is what I would chose since I would only be able to understand the world to a degree---not totally.

  9. I don't want the whole world with me.

I'd rather have one person with complete (mutual) understanding and 'together' try to understand others.  My world often encapsulates in one entity...Scary,  Risky;  but I wouldn't have it any other way!

  10. Give me the intimacy of individual connections over worldly passions any day.

  11. When the WHOLE world is against me I cannot forget this single person (real friend) still behind me against all odds

  12. i would rather be a teenager that way i could just know everything

  13. Somehow I've managed to do a bit of both. Over time, I've come to a limited understanding of the world and how it operates. However, that's nowhere near as important as the personal relationships. I'd rather have a deep understanding of one person in a way that nobody else does (fortunately, I have also found that in my life).

  14. first understand yourself and you will understand whole world.

the whole world is within you. go into yourself  and you will find that there is no need to understand others.all the questions will be dissolved in the sea of real understanding.

  15. love me baby. :P i need a beautiful world. haha...

  16. I think half the fun of living, is not completely understanding the world, and having to philosophize and dream about it. On the contrary, some people need to be understood to feel loved and helped, so I would rather understand a single person so that I could be there and help them.

  17. I would rather understand the world.
