Would you rather work and live in America or England for 3 years?

I'm debating which country! Have not been to either before! Any opinions or thoughts would be much appreciated! Please say why which country to!

Crime is lower in the UK and it has a stronger economy.

I've worked in both places. Hated England - loved America, but I think it would depend to a degree on what type of work you do. I'm in IT and found the US to be far more exciting, advanced and forward looking.
