  1. Oh h**l yeah!!!

But only if someone bought it for me..I would not go out to buy it.

  2. I would not read it in a fit! Even if I found a discarded copy at a rubbish tip.

Gary Snr has now come out rubbishing Bomber Thompson for suggesting son Nathan was retiring due to his drug & behavioural revelations, prior to the issue of his forthcoming book.

I know who I believe out of Ablett Snr & Mark Thompson! I don't think Thompson would be so naive as to make such comments if he did not know the background behind Nathan Ablett's decision to retire from AFL football.

  3. wow can imagine hookers and drugs and a manifested confession to both...

no will give it a wide berth thanks.

  4. I don't read any books "written" by any so-called sports stars so I can't see myself being remotely interested in this one.

Everyone to their own. If one wants to read it, so be it. If one doesn't want to read it they should not be subject of criticism by ones in here with one-eyed views.

  5. Hmmm, I'm a mad/lunatic Cats fan and I don't think I'd read it.  These books are never written by the actual player (like Gary Snr writing? I didn't know he could.)  They're always incredibly biased and make them squeaky clean and everyone else around them look like fools.

Gary was a great player but I just can't imagine spending an evening with him, intellectualising over soda water.  So no thanks - not on my Xmas list - I'm sticking with the Ferrari and the new fishing rod (one of which I'll probably get)

  6. He was a great player ..... and i would prefer to watch highlights of him playing than read the book.

Not i wont be reading it,  but then again i dont follow Geelong

  7. yeah i wpuld read it, i wouldnt go out and buy it

  8. Has it been released? Or is it pre-amble stuff to get prospective buyers interested?

  9. I'd read it and so would thousands of others, if they read chopper books, why not Gaza's, he was the best footballer of all time, no doubt in my mind.  i would love to hear what he has to say, i am not condoning his life style but it would be interesting to say the least, who hasn't read a book about someone who wasn't the best person in the world, fairdinkum, there a few hypocrites on here. be honest with yourselves people.   so yes i would read it.

  10. I would.  I don't think he is a particularly good man, but I still think it would be interesting to hear his side of all the stories that are put into the media.  I'm sure they will be nothing like each other, and are both exaggarated.

I think it would be interesting to compare the media to his views, and in any case he would have some killer stories to tell.

  11. Yes!!

  12. I bought a Ablett biography by Ken Piesee (sp?) several years ago at Melbourne Sports Books. I think I will buy this one when I get in contact with Santo at his store. Of course it it not available here in America.
