  1. yep if it was as good as the harry potter series which was almost ten books.

even if they covered a span of 26 years hopefully i wouldnt die in the meantime

    bahahah

  2. If it was interesting, then yes. Y do u ask??

  3. I have read Piers Anthony's Xanth books (27 and counting) and it has span several generations.

I have read all of the Pern novels by Anne McCaffrey and it has several generations of Pern residents.

    So yes.

  4. I've been reading a series called The Destroyer for over 30 years. (I can't believe it!) I'm on #125 or something. They stopped numbering and just call it The New Destroyer now. One of the original  authors died 15 years ago and a new writer is finally getting his name on the cover. It's a great series about two assassins (Chuin and Remo) who use the sun source of all martial arts, Sinanju. The first book was made into a movie in the 80's.

  5. I would actually really enjoy that! I wish some books would go longer..

  6. If it was a good series then yes i would

  7. yas i so would

if it were the twilight sereies continued (lOlOlOlOl)

    =]

  8. if it was harry potter or chronicles of narnia

  9. Probably, yes.

It depends on the genre of said series.

  10. A Series of Unfortunate Events has thirteen books and they are hugely popular (they sold over fifty million worldwide), so I think as long as the story is engaging people will read no matter how many books there are and how many years the story spans.

  11. I sure would! I love reading, so i would definately, if the books were good of course.

I've read Robert Jordan's "Wheel of Time" series, and I loved it. (despite his untimely death and therefore a lack of the last book)

he wrote 11 books, each was not longer than about 800 and not shorter than about 500... and they were dense. That took me about four years to read, but I'm really glad I did!

If you're interested in this series, I say go for it! You won't have to worry about what to read next for awhile ;)

  12. of course, I mean if I read the first book, I gotta see how it ends! And if it's really good, i'll probably want even more ;]

  13. if it was something that i was interested in and the words weren't super tiny then yes i would read the 10 books.

  14. Yes, if the books were well-written and the subject was interesting. I've read series' of fewer books that covered longer periods of time (John Jakes'  'Kent Family Chronicles') and series' of more than ten books that spanned shorter periods (Bernard Cornwell's 'Sharpe' series and Jonathan Kellerman's 'Alex Delaware' psych thrillers).

  15. I tend not to like so much time being covered in a series. I like a long series if the action all takes place in a relatively short amount of time (A Series of Unfortunate Events) but I don't like it when time keeps dragging on. I guess I feel that stories should be more concise, acting as a window to a large event instead of showing an entire span of the character's lives.

But I think I'd like a series like that if each book featured a different main character, with the old ones maybe coming in as cameos. Then it wouldn't feel as tiresome.

  16. If it was REALLY enticing, yeah. =D

  17. Absolutely! I've done it before and I'll do it again!

  18. if they it's a good series..of course I would
