Would you recommend Blackpool pleasure beach over Alton or Thorpe...?

...for a family day out..the kids just wont do long queues...

What's the queues like in Blackpool..? they can be horrendous at Alton and Thorpe...

Planning on going late spring/early summer....

Thorpe park...its got some of the highest n fastest rollorcaosters in the world if u love rides like that... thats the amusement  park to go 2 but if they dont then for kids rides it would be alton towers or draton maynor but id still say Thorpe is best

try take them out on an inset day or school day if you dont mind the queues will be shorter i havent been to both but blackpool has more history and has quite good rides.  alton towers good rides but longer qeues.  i would go to blackpool theres more to do.

I think Alton Towers is the best Theme Park in the country as there are enough rides there to keep you entertained for the whole day, and you could always pay a little bit extra for a queue jump ticket? However, Blackpool is a lot cheaper and the queues aren't as mad but can still get pretty long at peak periods. Blackpool also has the beach, the tower and the pier with all the amusements so if it's nice, you won't be bored there either!

I think Blackpool is better because there is a lot of other things to do and see apart from the fair.

I would have put it so rudely, but yeah, Blackpool isn't heaven!

You will queue no matter where you go, and going in season - well, you just have to put up with it.

Legoland is a bad place for queues, but it is a fantastic place. If you are going to stand in a queue, your child will want a wee just as you get to the start-Legoland understand this, Alton doesn't.

If you have enough money, stay in the Alton Towers hotel. Blackpool is ok for the illuminations, but it is a hotspot for kids going out on the lash. London would be a better option, but that is just me.

THORPE PARK IS BAD!!!!!!!

WE Q'ED FOR LIKE 2 HOURS THEN IT BROKE DOWN

STEALTH WASNT EVEN ON COLOSSUS BROKE ITS RUBBISH DONT GO THERE!!!

I'd recommend either blackpool or alton towers they are both awesome places and have great rides
