Would you recommend Cancun for New Year?

It is my 21st birthday two days before New Years Eve 2008/2009 and am thinking of spending it and new years in Cancun.

Is it a good time to visit? Whats the weather like? I want it to be busy in the bars and clubs etc :-D

It will be hot during the day, kind of chilly at night (not very, though).

Lots of clubs, bars and probably parties and concerts.

You will have fun!

I can tell you the bay of Acapulco is the most unbelievable experience of my life on New Years. All the hotel and even the navy shoot off the best fireworks that illuminate the bay and reflect off the water. The navy base is behind the mountain range here and they fire over the mountains . The hotels join in and they are just INCREDIBLE. Maybe 15 minutes of complete noise and people and beauty. After the show everybody just parties on the Costera and beach.

Trust me un forgettable
