i want to buy one for my new college apt its 37" and theres one for sale on craigslist for $800, model# LN-T375H

is this a good tv/deal? i don't want to spend any more money than the 800 so buying new would give me less of a tv. if i see the tv in working condition and theres no cosmetic damage, would you say its ok?

  1. That all depends on how old it is and how many hours are on the lamps. Most lcd tv's are only good for about 50,000 hours and if this tv is 3 years old it could easily have half the life used. 800 seems like an awful lot for this set especially since it doesn't even come with a warr. I wouldn't recommend it. Brand new 37 inch lcd tvs can be purchased for that price when on sale. This model I have seen currently for around1000-1200 brand new
