i studied sociology in my o levels this year and might take it in a levels as well..it deals with issues such as age gender ethnicity, migration, race, childhood, family, marriage, discrimination and racism, education, law and punishment, socialization, media, wealth poverty, discrimination at home, school, at work, etc.... if it was on me. i would make it a permanent subject for all students in my country, it really opens your eyes, and makes you look at the world differently. youre able to give an explanation and understand the reasons to each and every behaviour by your parents, friends, police, media, etc. i would recommend you to study it 110%

yes - I loved it and a sociology degree can get you into any job that any other arts degree will. You learn about the dynamics of societies and how they change and might change. Social issues and different theories about their causes and solutions.

Every human  issue is sociological a well as psychological because we all impact on each other. I found that as a discipline -it broadened out my ways of thinking and debating -   Psychology and sociology overlap a fair bit and you can always take some psychology options- I found social psychology really interesting looking at trends and dynamics of sub groups and what influences our behaviours within groups.

Sociology is an interesting subject and I think an easy subject which I took at school years ago, but that may be because I enjoyed it.  You will learn about the structure of human society, family structure, friends, relationships, different ages, races, s*x, religion, politics how society is affected by poverty, different cultures etc.  It is a fascinating subject.
