Would you report to your boss that a coworker was argumentative, racist, biased, rude, and inconsiderate?

one of my coworkers i worked with at a temp job for 3 days- called me high yellow, not to mention she was interrupted me when i talked- she would make like a hissing sound everytime i said something- she would bump into me on purpose when i was filing paperwork- etc- she was very rude- mean- and argumentative- i got this job through a temp agency- and she's not very polite- i was thinking about telling my employer about her- so others wouldn't have to deal with her- some of my friends/family think its not a good idea- because my employer can ask her about it and she could lie on me- and its better if i just drop it and not complain- but i do think this woman needs to be complained on!

Yes, that is harrasment! First I would confront her about it nothing happens, continues to do then go to your boss. You have a right not to be harrased while your trying to do your job.

First you should tell your agency what you experienced at this company and inform them that you are going to HR for this company to deal with this person.  Your agency may tell you that it is not necessary for you to do that, but you should ask them if they feel that they can resolve this with the company if they intend to send other temp workers there.  Tell them that this person is giving temp workers a bad time and making it difficult to work there.  They should see that it is an advantage to them to get this situation resolved before they send anyone else there.

You should report it to HR, or your manager if there is no HR department where you work. Harassment of this kind is something companies take very seriously. If she is making your work environment uncomfortable, you have to speak up. Even if you're leaving, it will be the same for the next person employed for them and if you can prevent them from going through the same abuse you went through with her, then you'll have done a lot of good.

If she lies and says she didn't, I doubt your employer would just turn on you. Most places do an investigation into that kind of behaviour so it's more than just "he-said, she-said."

If anyone else in the workplace has experienced her bad behaviour, report to your boss together.

Be brave and do the right thing.

yes you should report it  if you don't it will feaster into some thing bigger.  you will not be  happy at your work. if you like the work that you are doing it will make things better in the long run so jump on it now.

once your last day is over, I would write a letter to the boss with very specific details about this person's actions, that is totally unprofessional behavior on her part.  If I were a boss I would want to know that I had someone of this nature working for me.  It may not get her fired now, but maybe it would make her boss take notice and watch her for other signs of bad behavior.  Keep the letter professional and straightforward with the facts.

Can you get a couple of your co-workers to go with you when you report her to your boss? I had the same thing happen once and two people went with me who experienced the persons bad behavior. It really helped and the situation was resolved.

I did one time and they did not beleive me.And did not take me seriously. And you never know who she knows too. Some people csn just be evil.

In Fact this place was run by men who got thier rocks off of female cat fights.

I was not going to go there.and give them that satisfaction to see 2 females fight.  

The more I complained about her the more they put me to work with her.  

So I was ALL BUSINESS and eventually she hung herself by getting herself fired. Then finally they beelived me after witnessing firsthand her yelling and screaming at me.She was jealuse of me because I am pretty and dark (ADMITTD IT TO ME) and she was not and had PAPER WHITE SKIN and she would bake herself in the sun to look like me and only burned.and got red.

I ended the friendship and told her to get professional help as a friend. She was angry that her Husband liked me and I told him never in a million years and I dont play with married men I am happily married. It was a truly crazy time.
