Would you return a bag of money?

Question

You are hiking alone in the woods. You find a bag of money containing stacks of 100 dollar bills. There is no information in the bag and no one is there to see you pick it up. Would you turn it in to the police, or keep it?

I would hide it for a few months, just to make sure no one came after it. Like in "No Country for Old Men". After making sure there was no tracking device.

Then I would take a bill or two and have it checked at a bank to make sure it was genuine and the serial numbers not on any list.

If still good to go, launder the bills a little at a time, in different places to be on the safe side. Never buying anything big with it.

Then I would leave sums of money in the poor boxes in various churches, so that people who really need help would get it.

Supposedly, the cops would return it to you if unclaimed, but since virtually every large bill has microscopic traces of cocaine and other drugs on it, I think it would be confiscated by them.

I would take a luxury holiday with my children

pay off the mortgage and have a new bathroom , a trip to the surgeon for a bit of lipo and a nice spa weekend

If I was alone... I would keep it... If I was with other people... I would kill them first and then keep it.

i would go to a police station and tell them to hold it for 48 hours and if no one picked it up then it could be mine

in an ideal world you should hand in it ut hey no one is perfect i would spend spend spend

I'd probably buy me some Taco Bell first then I'd return it.
