Would you run, or would you stay?

Okay, here is a hypothetical.

If a wife were to intercept an email to her husband from a girl who was head over heals in love with him. He didn't shut her down, but didn't persue anything as a good boy.

The wife accused him of cheating, which he didn't... much anguish ensues, she is convinced, he is innocent. There is forever a trust issue.

The question is.... run away, or work through it?

Work through it to convince both. You have to stay away from your lady love. Assure your wife of your commitment to love her and dedication. Tell straight your lady love that you don't like to associate with her anymore. Never meet or communicate with her. Ignore her 100 per cent.

Depends on if the marriage can be saved, if the wife is not prepared to accept that nothing happened & the attraction is purely one side ( the girl who emailed ) then I'd say the husband is fighting a loosing battle & they should split.

  If however the wife is prepared to try to work things out & eventually accept the fact that nothing had happened & that her husband did not encourage this girl's infatuation with him, then I'd say their marriage could be saved.

If she won't let it go then I would suggest counseling if you want to salvage your relationship with her. She may need an outside person to tell her to let it go and that she is just being jealous. You marriage actually might become stronger because of it.
