Yes, but it is illegal, The customs official will fine you heavily and it also  has a prisonable offence, and it is used frequently.

My friend  runs veg oil in his ford truck.  He gets it free at restaraunts.  But there is a catch.  After buying the kit for the vehicle if you choose to make your own fuel the oil must be tested or graded with a simple instrument and then filtered several times also the ethynol that mixes with it that is strained off.  Keep in mind the ethynol is about 5 dollars a gallon.  You can reclaim the ethynol by building a still like a modern  moonshine still.  There is a lot of work involved in this and the fuel ends up costing about 1.50 a gallon plus the labor to ready the fuel.

Be sure the oil is filtered as your injectors are very small.
