If I saw or met the stranger, I probably would do it.    I have a family member with kidney problems, so this issue is closer to my thoughts and concerns than most.

One interesting fact on this subject.     Not one kidney donor has ever died from the failure of their other kidney.

Yes. I always try to put other people before me, even if I don't know them that well.

Yeah and if I died in the process because I hate surgery and anything that has to do with blood I'd die knowing that my life had a purpose and was important to anothers, because right now, it's not important, or purposeful, yet.

The person would thank me for the rest of their life and I would be satisfied no matter how much pain I've gone through for the rest of my life.

If it involved medical equipment, they'd have to knock me out first, but of course I'd do anything to save someones life! I'd even kill myself if it benefited someone!

nope.  what if you gave yourr kidney to a stranger and then you found out that someone in your fam needed a kidney? that would realy suck.

I don't know . . . it would probably depend on the stranger. Does he/she have anyone else to do this for him/her? Is it someone I would think is worth saving? If the answers to these questions are no and yes, respectively, then I think I would.
