There are less than 100,000 people in Nunavut, no factories, no traffic jams(unless your in Iqaluit), yet we are being forced to use the energy saving equipment because of global warming. Stuff like the wierd lights that last for about a month, nozzles that will make you use less water even though they say the world is three quarters water. Carbon dioxide, the main cause of greenhouse effect, is mostly produced south of 60 degrees yet they are starting up north, the one area that is producing the least amount of carbon dioxide.

  2. Nope, I wouldn't.  I think every little bit helps no matter what part of the world you are in.

  3. How about the fact that I'm an Abenaki (St Francis) which is a recognized tribe in Canada but not in the US.  As if the Abenaki recognized the border between Canada and the US before it existed.

  4. You've got to start somewhere.

Instead of whining about it, why don't you lead by example and be proud to show off your level of commitment to the environment.

  5. Well, one rotten apple ruins the whole basket and you're forced to rectify someone's error.  Yeah, i'll say that word!

  6. Using  less industrialized countries (Africa for instance) as experimenting grounds for global warming hysteria is becoming more common. Often times it actually works to cripple what are already pooor people even further. So, yes I would.
