Would you say that you fit the appearance of your rising sign?

As in, if the way you look resembles what the websites say about your ascendant.

I would say that I actually do, my Sagittarius rising does fit me for the most part

I have Cancer rising...it does fit me.

I'm easily bloated and I'm a bit on the chubby side....plus I have a round face...I'm not very caring like it says I'm supposed to be...eh I don't know anything else.

my aries ascendent fits me like a charm.

i have an athletic build, i usually walk very fast with little steps, i have sharp looking eyes, i tilt my head over when i walk, i have a small scar on my forehead from hitting my head when i was little, and i have a slim neck.

but my cancerian sun gives a small accent to my overall appearance. lol

i am very short for my age, i have round eyes, i have little hands, i have VERY slim limbs, a thicker waist and a large bust making me appear top-heavy, and to top it off i have a wide smile.

lol. i guess i'm a combo of the 2.

Yes!  Very much so.  In fact, most people who seem to know about Astrology seem to pick that sign more than my sun sign.  But I wonder (sometimes) if it's just a guess because my Sun and rising sign are right next to each other.

I have libra rising with pluto in the first house,and i think i fit it quite well,because i have balanced features,and am slender,and any time you have a planet in your ascendant it adds something to your appearance and in my case i have darker features,and very intense and piercing blue/green eyes.

Hmm....Yes, and no. I'm not tall or slender, but rather short and curvy. I do have a symmetrical face and dimples when I smile. I do carry myself like a Libra rising, I suppose. I am very conscious of my posture, and put a lot of effort into the way I dress. I also have a very mature, poised way of presenting myself. Though, I love to stand out and be noticed, and often weat very flashy unique things, which I'm not sure is characteristic of Libra Rising.

I'm an Aries with Scorpio rising and I think I look more Aries than anything...5'6", broad forehead, thick blonde hair.  I do have piercing, prominent eyes but that could be either Aries or Scorpio.

yes, my scorpio rising definitely fits me. thick eyebrows, strong jawbone, and a prominent nose. thick forehead and a muscular but compact body. not to mention the "wierd" way i walk and my supposedly piercing eyes.

Sagittarius rising here, too!

I must say I probably look most like the stereotype: I'm a redhead, have a high forehead (and in response to the appearance described in the first link, yes, I *do* wave my hair around like a mane, strangely enough), am "gracefully clumsy" (link 4, or 5, don't remember...), make dramatic gestures (jesus try and stop my hands!), when in conversation I lean very close to the people I'm in conversation with... always without exception, like my boyfriend (and people before him) has told me so many times I have very clear sparkling eyes, ...

(The red hair is typical for fire risings, apparently. And funnily enough my hair is a mixture of all colours except black and... well, grey. Mostly red, though...)

I think that says enough... funny, really. I act more like my rising sign than I act like any other object in my chart. Perhaps my Mars in Capricorn excluded, but then again my Jupiter is in Capricorn as well so...

Capricorn is my rising sign and I would love to know what my appearance is supposed to resemble. By the way my Sun sign is Sagittarius!

Yes, more or less, I'd say it does. I sort of look "unconventional", pretty absent-minded/aloof sometimes...Can look cold, too- especially when my Cap Sun interferes- but I'm usually friendly with strangers/people. I'm also under the impression that I look weird when I hit those unexpected Uranian moments... but don't tell anyone < :-P

Like thinNtall, I have Gemini Rising and I'm also thin and tall..lol. Everything fits me except for the description of birdlike legs. I have long arms, legs, and fingers and I walk, talk, and eat pretty fast. I also have big eyeballs which I've read is a trait of Gemini Rising. It makes me sound like I'm a walking giraffe but it oddly fits together quite nicely.

im a scorpio ascendant/rising . . . with sun, pluto, mercury and venus conjunct ascendant and in 1st house, i definitely have the light green brown coloured intense eyes, my scorpio ascendant is supposed to have a strong build, my body is more hourglass and curvy, i've never had a thin figure, i have long dark black hair, which i've dyed brown, and my features are quite dark . . . my ascendant says im supposed to have quite alot of hair, i have alot of hair on my head, but not on my body . . . ermm . . . i'm 5ft 5 lol i don't know . . . overall i'm very insecure about my appearance, and don't really like what i see, although i have been told i am pretty, but compliments don't do anything for me, i hate flattery . . .

Yes, in western I'm Libra rising. (First decan) and in Vedic I'm Virgo Rising (3rd decan) both decans ruled by Venus. I fit more into the Virgo Rising but have a lot of traits that of Libra. <Batting Eyelashes> Hehe.

In regards to physical traits/ appearance i agree with the description Wikipedia outlines of a cancer ascendant.

My rising sign is a Cancer:

- I am average height though I have others try to place me as below average height/short -lol.

- I wouldn't say i have an athletic body but i am slim.

- I have a shortish/ small nose in other words a small button nose.

- I have a full mouth and full lips

- My smile is wide (top and bottom teeth is shown..okay it is not that bad and bold but when i smile usually top and bottom is displayed -lol)

- My face appears as an oval although they state cancer's to have a roundish face. I believe when i was some dress size's up i used to have a roundish face, but have lost it and my face have slimed down to appearing as an oval.

Well that's me in the avatar -lol.

I also believe for some reason that signs in the sun and moon planets also contribute to aspects of one's appearance and physical traits.

no I do not think so that much.

Am gemini rising and all the descriptions do not apply to me.

The only thing is I have very skinny arms especially forearms.

The rest is more ruled by sag and leo. and pehaps venus,

I have always been conscious of my weight. Am slender but by choice not genetics.

my hair is not curly..........poker straight.

my nose is totally straight.

I have very strong features : high cheekbones, strong jaw etc but my face is very oval.

my eyes are not brown......but very blue.

I am of medium average height.

Too many people have said that I have cat's eyes.......they are not big at all. almond shape.

basically i do not see much of my gemini rising apart from behaviour and mentally.

My physical appearance is lot more liked to other planets in my chart.

I am also naturally very strong without trying (mars in leo).

So nope..gemini rising would suit my temparent but not my appearance.

PS: I have no planets in my first house,,,,,,either,,

I know some people are going to hate me for this..........have been upteen times that I should a model.....not my thing. My brain comes first.
